The facilities were very clean, and the bathroom was very spacious. The 24 hour reception was helpful. Although close to the station, there was no noise to disturb us. The hotel also has a charming faded grandeur with a lovely large garden. Despite the lack of air conditioning, the staff were friendly and provided a fan. I would recommend this hotel for a one night stay.

Located right near the train station, this classic European hotel offers excellent staff service and comfortable rooms with spacious bathrooms. the 24-hour reception was helpful, and the breakfast provided was accommodating for early risers. the hotel also has retained architectural features, such as a magnificent Hausmann era wooden caged lift, and a beautiful rear garden to enjoy.
It would have been nice to have a bar or lounge area, but the hotel essentially operates as a B&B.

Had a pleasant Christmas at a hotel with plenty of character. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfortable. The warm and cozy atmosphere of the hotel made us feel at home. The location was very convenient for sightseeing and exploring the city, and the private parking was a plus.
The lack of air conditioning made it difficult to sleep during the hot summer nights. We could hear the noise from the street and train station. The breakfast buffet was not great, and there were no tissues or hairdryer in the room. we had a good experience, but improvements in some areas would make our stay even better.
